Microwave Shallot Oil and Shallot flakes
Ingredients:
120g red Shallots (

200ml - 220ml of vegetable cooking oil

1.
Removed the outer skin of the shallots and sliced it thinly.
2.
Pour the vegetable in a microwave safe medium big bowl. Cook on HIGH heat for 5
minutes, remove carefully from the oven and then add in the shallot slices.
3.
On HIGH, cook the shallot and oil in the microwave oven for another 4 minutes. Give it a quick stir after.
4.
Return to cook for another 3 minutes, giving it a quick stir after. Repeat the same process with cook time of 2 minutes till the shallot starts to appear slightly golden brown in color.
(Optional: You may cook it for additional minute if a darker browning of the shallot flakes is required.)
